Maha Montessori-Encino
@Woodvale Rd.

Our curriculum is rich and not limited to the contents and subjects presented in our gallery here. We take every opportunity to extend social occasion to introduce new learning opportunity for the children. For example, although we are a non-religious scheduled and not affiliated with any specific belief system or faith, during Easter season, we take this opportunity to introduce the life cycle of the chicken and rabbits and create activities, arts, and crafts to reinforce what the children learned from this activity, During Christmas season, we take this opportunity to celebrate the water life cycle, the snow, and the beautiful earth seasons and of course, the kindness represented in the person of Santa. At Maha Montessori, our approach is that all existing cultural and seasonal events are opportunities to learn about a related subject or a scientific concept.  By creating this linkage and application of learning to real life, information retention becomes an effortless natural outcome, which is why the Montessori method is the best and most successful method for early childhood education.
